For users who purchased MLB.TV from ESPN who need to activate to watch on MLB

  4. Once linked, you can now access content across both ESPN and MLB apps

  2. You will see an option to activate your MLB.TV subscription on ESPN

  4. Once linked, you can now access content across both ESPN and MLB apps

Tap your Account on ESPN.com or within the ESPN App and select the MLB.TV subscription or find any MLB content on ESPN.com or within the ESPN App and you will be directed to the purchase flow to add MLB.TV to your subscription.

Yes. MLB.TV Monthly and Seasonal plans are both available with ESPN Unlimited monthly and annual plans. New subscribers interested in the one-month free trial of ESPN Unlimited must sign up for the monthly ESPN Unlimited plan.

If you are an existing ESPN Unlimited monthly subscriber (billed directly by ESPN) and adding MLB.TV, your billing dates will remain the same. This means there may be a proration of your first month of MLB.TV to ensure you're getting billed just once each month.

Please note that if you remain subscribed to MLB.TV for the following season, MLB.TV will automatically renew on or about March 1 for all subscribers regardless of your billing cycle, which may result in separate charges and billing dates each month going forward (one for MLB.TV and one for everything else).

Yes, you can remove ESPN Unlimited from your subscription and retain MLB.TV by itself. All subscribers are required to have access to ESPN Unlimited to purchase MLB.TV. After purchasing, users can change or cancel their base plan and maintain MLB.TV independent of any other ESPN plans, with billing continuing through ESPN. If a user already has MLB.TV, they can proceed to stream MLB.TV content on the ESPN App without any other subscription.

Currently ESPN only offers the out-of-market MLB.TV service. For all in-market team/game inquiries, please reach out to MLB here.

There is no option to pause ESPN Unlimited or MLB.TV during or after the MLB season; however, you can cancel auto-renewal to stop future charges, giving you access until the current paid period ends. Also note that MLB.TV Monthly subscribers will not be charged after October of each season, with those monthly charges resuming on or about March 1 each season.

Once you purchase MLB.TV, you will be able to watch the out-of-market MLB broadcasts directly within ESPN using your ESPN account, on ESPN.com or on the ESPN App. For the additional MLB.TV content available only on the MLB App, you can link your ESPN Account to your MLB Account to log into the MLB App. You can link your ESPN and MLB Accounts no matter where you purchased MLB.TV:

For users who purchased MLB.TV from ESPN who need to activate to watch on MLB

  1. Go to ESPN Account Management

You can remove ESPN Unlimited from your subscription anytime during the one-month free trial to avoid being charged, but please note that you will immediately lose access to ESPN. Simply log into your ESPN account on espn.com or the ESPN app, go to your Profile > Account > Subscriptions, select "Manage Subscription," and follow the prompts to remove ESPN. Removing ESPN Unlimited from your subscription will not automatically cancel your MLB.TV subscription, unless you choose to cancel both subscriptions at the same time in your Account Settings.

MLB.TV seasonal offering will go through in-season price drops. ESPN Unlimited will not.

T-Mobile customers who subscribe to MLB.TV must first activate their account with MLB, as instructed by T-Mobile. Then, as an active MLB.TV subscriber, you can link your MLB Account to your ESPN Account. You can then start watching MLB.TV on ESPN. Note that T-Mobile MLB.TV subscribers will not have access to MLB Network.

For users who have MLB.TV from MLB who need to activate to watch on ESPN:

  1. Go to MLB Account Management (Click on the profile icon located at the top right of MLB.com pages)

  2. You will see an option to activate your MLB.TV subscription on ESPN

  3. From there, follow the steps to link your MLB account with your MyDisney Account

  4. Once linked, you can now access content across both ESPN and MLB apps

MLB.TV Monthly subscriptions will renew monthly through October, then automatically restart on or around March 1, unless canceled. MLB.TV Seasonal subscriptions will have access to MLB Network and Archives throughout their billing period, while Monthly subscriptions will only have access to MLB Network until the end of October, plus Archives. We will email you before the start of the next MLB season with details about your MLB.TV renewal.

No. Sharing your username and password is strictly prohibited.

Yes, but you will be subject to MLB blackout restrictions. For more information about blackouts, and to search for areas for blackouts, visit MLB.com. If the computer meets the system requirements, then you can log in with your ESPN Account to access your subscription from anywhere at any time.

Eligible customers who purchase MLB Extra Innings through their cable provider may authenticate into MLB.TV in the MLB app only by visiting https://commerce.mlb.com/ei. For any questions, please contact MLB.
